USAG Girls Team
TNT’s Girls Junior Olympic program trains and competes following the guidelines, rules and policies set by USA Gymnastics. The program follows the belief that all athletes must develop a solid foundation of basic skills in order to advance safely at their own pace and reach their full potential. Three sub-programs exist within TNT’s Girls Junior Olympic Program:
TNT's Developmental Program is comprised of three groups: Profile, Level 1, and Level 2. The Developmental Teams are non-competitive, achievement-based groups focused on proper skill, technique and shape development for progression into the competitive levels. Developmental athletes are able and encouraged to participate in various community outreach events. Participation in our developmental program is not required to advance to the competitive levels, nor does it guarantee mobility to the competitive levels.
TNT’s Compulsory Program is comprised of three levels: Level 3, Level 4 and Level 5. The Compulsory-level athletes train and compete routines designed by USA Gymnastics to build upon the foundation of skills and techniques learned in the developmental levels as well as prepare the athletes for optional level competition. Athletes in TNT’s Compulsory Program compete within North Dakota as well as in surrounding states with their season culminating at the State Championship Meet.
TNT’s Optional Program is comprised of five levels: Level 6, Level 7, Level 8, Level 9 and Level 10. The Optional-level athletes train and compete routines designed specifically for them following the guidelines and requirements set by USA Gymnastics. Athletes in TNT’s Optional Program compete throughout the state, region and nation with their seasons culminating at three different meets: State Championships (Levels 6 & 7), Regional Championships (Level 8) and National Championships (Levels 9 & 10).
TOPS (Talent Opportunity Program)
TNT's TOPs Team is a supplemental program intended to accelerate the training of athletes, ages 6-11, who are at or above the Profile level. The TOPS curriculum serves to enhance the five components of physical fitness (cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and body composition) in order to expedite skill development. TOPs athletes are tested annually each summer on their physical abilities and skills sets following guidelines and routines set by USA Gymnastics. Athletes eligible for this program must meet or exceed all program expectations- attendance, work ethic, etc.

I am very proud, honored and humbled to say that my daughter Jaelyn is on the Competitive Girls Team program at TNT. She loves TNT and wishes she could live there! And I love watching her healthy little body perform and learn unbelievable gymnastic skills. but the competitive team program as given her so much more. It has also helped her build confidence, determination, value hard work, time management skills, become a better learner, the ability to express emotions through movement, and most importantly respect and support of her teammates. The coaching staff always puts safety first, and never pushes young athletes to learn skills that their minds and body’s aren’t ready to perform. They focus on the whole child, not just the skills. Gymnastics is a very physically and mentally demanding sport for not just the athlete, but for parents as well. It’s difficult to find words to express all of my emotions I have experienced as team parent. But, watching her compete and move to the best of her ability. Makes all the demands and emotions are so very worth it! Thank you TNT.
